My first time here was on a first date. Not the usual atmosphere I would choose for a first date but the food and our conversation made up for that. It's a chill spot. I would only dine-in if I just needed a quick moment to chill. The staff is friendly and sweet. The food though? Out this fucking world, you hear me?!

I've had a lot of dishes here: Salmon and Cajun Alfredo, Seafood Mac and Cheese (top 5), cheddar biscuits, tacos…man the list goes on. The quality of the food is consistent. Always delicious, always hot, always a nice-sized portion. Everything is seasoned …. EVERYTHING is seasoned AND has a mouthful of southern creole flavor (know the difference). I love their food and this place just makes me so proud to be black.

A few tips…

Dont let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. The menu will convince you to order EVERYTHING.

If ordering take out remember that the food is made fresh. Expect to wait 20 minutes minimum.
