Let’s Get Tilt at Tiltz!

My heart has a soft spot for Tiltz. Ever since I moved to Brooklyn, I’ve been looking to have some notoriety at a favorite bar/restaurant. I’ve gotten lucky a few times, but gentrification dusted away a few of my long standing spots that knew me better than my momma (ok, that’s a stretch). Anyway, Tiltz does it for me.
Tiltz is a mix of a classic game lounge and restaurant and bar. I’ve had about 80% of their menu (well whatever doesn’t contain meat) and literally EVERYTHING is so good. They do everything big here so just pretend that the word colossal is in front of each dish. The food is flavorful and it’s just quite hard to resist. The drinks are strong and they have all different types of things for you to do there. Whether you’re an old school head and have a slight addiction for video games, a starving patron looking for all the tacos, Mac and cheese, and southern comforts around, or just looking for your favorite beer on tap/cocktail, WITH some music that’ll absorb some good vibes.…Tiltz got you!

The staff spoils me a bit so I may be bias. Tiltz gets me though. The kitchen opens late, their hours are consistent, and I know I’ll feel at home. Their fishbowls are so cute too (they use Swedish fish 😭😂), and their Mac and Cheese is in my top 5. If they had hookah it’ll be a wrap but I’ll just keep trying to convince the owner and we’ll see where we can go from there. Weekend nights usually come with a live DJ. Can be quite loud if you’re thinking about date options. Also, if they’re a chill partner it can still be a great deal! Great happy hour and contests going on. Plenty options for shots too.
Take a trip there and tell them AJ sent you. 😉
