From Bangkok to Bushwick

Wow! Here I am thinking that Bushwick has a void when it comes to Thai food…no one told me I was the last one to know about this place.
Thai food is a favorite of mine. It’s consistent no matter where you go. It’s simple and it’s cheap. The menu is typically the same (always can depend on the reasonable lunch menu) and it’s my most preferred type of fried calamari.
I found out about this place because the delivery guy in my building had about 7 deliveries at one time, on a rainy night. I couldn’t help but to be nosey and ask him where he was delivering from. He pointed to the restaurant name on the plastic bag and I quickly did my yelp research.
I promised myself I would go but ended up here sooner than later. The food is the best Thai food I’ve had within 15 minutes distance of my house. The staff is welcoming and the ambience is chill.
I had the calamari and vegetable pineapple fried rice (VERY GOOD) lunch special. WITH a Thai iced tea (are you even at a thai restaurant if you don’t drink the iced tea?).
Happy that it’s here. I’ve also heard their delivery service is good too. Good to know I can depend on this place for a rainy day. ☺️
Oh! The fried banana dessert is A+ too. Just a tip: the ice cream is additional $3. I didn’t do the ice cream and the dessert itself was still great. There’s a nice cold filling inside that can be an ice cream substitute.
